BNDES Forests is a strategic action front of the Brazilian Development Bank that connects financial (reimbursable and non-reimbursable) and technical instruments to develop and consolidate at scale the restoration sector and forest bioeconomy in Brazil.

280 million trees
are being planted via initiatives and programs supported by BNDES for restoration, conservation, and applied innovation to transform landscapes and economies.

Arc of Restoration

An entire United Kingdom of forests under concession and study: an area of 25 million hectares can benefit from sustainable forest concession.

BNDES Proforest+
A partnership between BNDES and Petrobras to restore up to 50,000 hectares in the Amazon, generating high-integrity carbon credits.
Forest concessions
Sustainable management model for public forests, combining conservation, responsible management, and revitalization of the forest economy.
Climate Call
The notice allocates up to BRL 1 billion to select investment funds to support reforestation, agroforestry, sustainable forest management, regenerative silviculture, and the preservation and recovery of ecosystems and biodiversity.
Arc of Restoration
Largest restoration initiative in the Amazon being implemented. It will transform the deforestation arc into a reforestation corridor, with a goal of recovering 24 million hectares by 2050.
