BNDES Forests Credit

A credit line that gathers resources from the Climate Fund (under the coordination of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change) and from other BNDES sources to “support the conservation, recovery, and responsible management of forests and promote climate mitigation, environmental sustainability, water availability, protection and sustainable use of biodiversity, and resilience to climate change.” Built from studies and extensive dialogue with companies and specialists, BNDES Forests Credit represents one of the main solutions the Bank has promoted to face the challenges of the sector.
